The Asian Ombudsman Association (as a part of ADB- assisted RETA project) the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Philippines Ombudsman will jointly hold a two-day regional conference at Manila on August 24 – 25, 2010. This conference will present the highlights of 5 cross country studies and a Pakistan specific study on various aspects of ombudsmanship in Asia.
Ms. Elmira Suleymanova was re-elected as Azerbaijan Ombudsman for a second term on 5th March, 2010 by the Azerbaijan Parliament. She obtained 106 votes as against the required number of 73.

AOA Regional Conference Held at Manila
